My name is Robert Kaempfe and I am running for the State Representative for the 64th District to the General Assembly in Springfield.
The first thing I think that I have going for me is that I am not a career politician. While I was gathering signatures to get on the ballot for the primary election, a number of people asked me why I was running. The short answer is that I am not happy with the way things are run. Instead of whining and complaining like everyone else does, I am getting off my butt and I am going to try to do something positive. Even if I do not get elected, I will be able to tell myself for the rest of my life that I tried to make a difference.
I am not a rich guy trying to buy a political position. I have always been a working guy, and as such know what the regular working peopole are going through, and am more aware of your concerns than a career politican. Your concerns are my concerns, and that is how I will represent you.
Here is something you will not hear from a career politician; If I don't try to represent you the best ability, and don't have your best interests in mind, fire me, because I won't deserve a second term. If I do try, then keep me on.
